You can view and categorize any transaction either from the Home screen or through your individual bank cards:

1From the Home screen: Drag up or scroll the Recent Transactions sheet at the bottom to view your latest activity across all accounts, then tap the transaction you want to organize.
2From the Wallets tab: Tap the Wallets tab in the bottom bar, tap on any bank card (e.g. Telebirr, CBE, Dashen, Awash) to open that bank's transaction list, and tap the transaction.
3Inside the Transaction Detail screen, tap on the Reason / Category card.
4Browse predefined top categories (e.g. Food & Dining, Transport, Utilities, Shopping) or tap a category to expand its subcategories (like Groceries, Fuel, Electricity). You can also tap + to create your own custom subcategory.
5Select your category to apply it immediately. Shibre will prompt you with an option to link this category to that counterparty for future transactions automatically.
When you link a category to a counterparty, Shibre creates an auto-rule so all future SMS alerts from that person or merchant are categorized automatically.
